Visitor Parking at University of Limerick
When you arrive by car to the Univerisity of Limerick there are a number of parking options. There are 2,200 parking spaces on campus which are made up of staff car parking, reserved visitor parking, pay car parking and limited free open car parking. See car parking map here.
If you are visiting the university, we recommend the following parking options:
Accommodation car park
If you have reserved a room in Brennan Court Guest Accommodation on campus, a car parking space is provided for you in Kilmurry Village. Please contact 061 202081 if you require further information. On check in to your accommodation you will be issued with a guest accommodation parking permit which must be displayed on your car windscreen.
Reserved Day Visitor Parking
If you have a meeting with university personnel or have an appointment on campus, please check availability of reserved visitor car parking with the relevant department administrator. If available, a space will be reserved in advance of your arrival. There are two car parks reserved for visitors and prior booking is essential.
Open free car parking and pay car parking
If you are attending an event at the university or you wish to explore our beautiful campus, you can park in free open car parking as shown on our map at the Foundation Building (1), University Arena (10) Schuman Building (2) and the North Bank Carpark (15).
If spaces are unavailable, you can avail of pay car parking areas to the front of the Student Centre (11) or the Western Carpark (13) located near Dromroe Village. Parking in paid carparks is charged at a flat rate of €3.00 per day. Click here to see map of parking locations.
Staff car parking
There are a number of staff car parking facilities available around the campus reserved for UL staff only. Parking is only permitted to those who display a valid car park permit issued from Buildings and Estates. For more information on staff parking permits, click here.
We would like to advise visitors that clamping is in operation on campus at University of Limerick. If you are unable to park in reserved parking areas, we stongly advise visitors to park in free open carkparks or in pay carparks. Vehicles parked in undesignated areas, campus roads or in areas causing an obstruction to emergency or service vehicles will be clamped.
